Oostdam FLEXTENT® has been the stretch tent specialist for the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and Germany for 15 years. We pride ourselves on honesty and a personal touch. We also take pride in telling potential customers and distributors the authentic story about the original stretchtent and our family firm.

Stretch tents since 2008

In 2008, Oostdam FLEXTENT® introduced the first stretch tent (also known as a flex tent, free-form tent or Bedouin tent) to the Dutch market. Our family firm carried out all sales and promotion. With its luxurious design and exclusive appearance, the exceptionally strong but flexible tent canvas turned out to be a resounding success. Since then, FLEXTENT® has become the stretch tent specialist for the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and Germany. We are frequently copied but never equalled.

Certificates

Tents are subject to very strict safety requirements, verified by certificates and stipulated in tent manuals. After a concerted effort, Oostdam FLEXTENT® has received all certifications. We were the first in Europe to be awarded German TÜV certification up to 900 m², something we are immensely proud of. We are still the only supplier in Europe with this certification. The TÜV construction manual affords our FLEXTENT® all-weather F4L stretch tent access to the German events market, which has stricter safety requirements than the rest of Europe.

Sustainable and locally produced

When you purchase a FLEXTENT®, you buy local. Our stretch tents are fully manufactured in the Netherlands and Germany. All accessories are also produced in the EU. There is no international supply chain and we keep our ecological footprint small.

Innovation

Naturally, we are always evolving to stay up to date with the latest requirements and meet the needs of this fast-changing market. Over the last five years, we have made innovative leaps in sustainability and the safety of the tent canvas. The FLEXTENT® all-weather F4L stretch tent is Kiwa and TÜV tested under the most strenuous conditions. Durable and flexible, the ultra-strong four-layer canvas is also 100% waterproof and 100% wind resistant up to wind force 9.

FLEXTENT® now occupies a prominent place at every festival and event venue. Our stretch tent is also highly valued by the rental sector. It is in great demand within the catering and hospitality industries and is ideal for the beach and for both private and corporate parties.

From production to assembly

As the only supplier of original stretch tents, we also have an assembly and measurement service, which prevents mistakes when measuring and guarantees a robust structure even in rough weather. FLEXTENT® oversees the entire process, from measuring and production to transport and erection. Rest assured that everything will be perfect. Safety and quality are guaranteed.

We supply our FLEXTENT® all-weather F4L stretch tent throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and Germany. FLEXTENT® is an industry leader in these countries. And we keep striving to improve our product and service. We not only want to go the extra mile for our customers but also aim to introduce the stretch tent to an even bigger audience.

Showroom
